Dalal Rahme (she/her)
birth doula
Bio
Hello everyone, I am Dalal. I'm an Aussie who has traveled around for quite some time and decided to live out my purpose as a doula here in Victoria from June 2025.
My work gently nurtures parents through the sacred thresholds of life by using a body-based approach.
As a birth doula, I support birthing parents in having an embodied birth experience, where they are feeling connected.
As a postpartum doula, I tend to parents as they integrate into wholeness.
As a childbirth educator, I offer education, practices and rituals that prepare parents-to-be to step into parenthood, rooted in their power, sovereignty and authentic expression.
As a trauma-informed somatic practitioner, I weave breath, touch, sound and movement into practices, guiding you into your body to feel. I aim to meet you wherever you are on your journey.
My intention is to create a safe container where you can feel deeply, build capacity through your nervous system and meet all that life brings with presence.
My biggest dream is to create a retreat centre out in nature that includes a space where mothers can birth.
I value having a sense of adventure in my life and pleasure. If I am not supporting mothers or any other work (currently I am also cleaning), you will generally find me anywhere out in nature or checking out a new cafe, hiking, at a festival, spending solid time with friends connecting, moving my body at the gym and making kombucha and sourdough bread.

Dalal’s approach to care
“My approach is through the body and the nervous system always. Co-regulation is continuously happening in each other's presence whether you know it or not.
It is vital for me to create a relationship where you can be open and vulnerable. Everything is always an invitation and you are guiding our conversation. There is no one way.”
