Bio
Ram Dass said it best, ‘‘We are all just walking each other home’
.Through her practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Angelique endeavours to provide an invitation for her clients to come home to themselves and to return to wholeness. She will not and cannot heal you, however, she will journey alongside you in full support of your wellness.
She calls Sooke BC home, these days, where she throws a lot of rocks in the river and takes toddler paced ocean walks with her lil family.
Angelique gained her Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at Pacific Rim College here in Victoria B.C. She expresses an ongoing reverence and gratitude for her many teachings that are outside of her ancestral lineages.
Angelique is entering into Acupuncture practice following a lengthy career as a Registered Midwife. She gained her training at Otago Polytechnic in Aotearoa New Zealand, a land which is ever precious to the tone of her soul. She provided care for families during the childbearing continuum throughout British Columbia and internationally. She maintains a deep reverence for the complexity of the womb space - before, during and after the child bearing continuum. She holds additional acupuncture training from Deborah Betts specific to this child bearing year. She offered acupuncture care often to her midwifery clients when she practiced in Aoeteora. She endeavors to weave her rich midwifery knowledge base together with her ever expanding foundation of the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
She is currently exploring and implementing the ancient art of TCM Facial analysis and Diagnosis, and will weave this training into her regular treatments. Additionally, she is always honoured to offer cosmetic acupuncture treatments to those of us who are after a lil glow.
